Brief description of the project

Construction and equipping of the "ARAH" jewelry workshop

SMART INVEST INC SRL, tax identification code 24860118, registered with the Trade Register under no. J2008002500034, with its registered office in Nucșoara, str. Fermei nr. 8, Argeș county, announces the signing, on 11.09.2025, of Funding Agreement no. 439, for the implementation of the project entitled "Construction and equipping of the "ARAH" jewelry workshop", SMIS Code 327650, with the South Muntenia Regional Development Agency (ADR South - Muntenia) as the Managing Authority for the South Muntenia Regional Program (AM PRSM).

The project will be implemented at the company's work point located in Ștefănești city, Valea Mare-Podgoria village, Zavoi street, no. 21, Argeș county, through non-reimbursable financing granted through the South-Muntenia Regional Program 2021-2027, Investment Priority 1 - "A competitive region through innovation, digitalization and dynamic enterprises", Specific Objective 1.3. - "Increasing the sustainable growth and competitiveness of SMEs and creating jobs within SMEs, including through productive investments", project call: PRSM/160/PRSM_P1/OP1/RSO1.3/PRSM_A44.

The total value of the project is 306,607.99 euros, of which the eligible non-reimbursable value from the European Regional Development Fund amounts to 169,622.60 euros, the eligible non-reimbursable value from the national budget amounts to 29,933.41 euros, and the eligible and non-eligible beneficiary co-financing, including non-eligible VAT, amounts to 107,051.98 euros.

The general objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness and sustainability of the enterprise by building and equipping a jewelry production workshop (CAEN code 3212). The project proposes the creation of a modern material base by acquiring equipment that incorporates new and sustainable technologies, with the aim of creating an efficient production flow for manufacturing products to high standards and optimal resource utilization, ultimately leading to the sustainable development of the enterprise and increased financial performance.

Specific objectives of the project:

1) Construction and equipping of the jewelry production workshop with equipment incorporating new and sustainable technologies, complemented by digitalization actions and environmental protection measures, designed to ensure the long-term sustainable development of the enterprise;

2) Increasing the company's market notoriety through the certification of services and processes, as well as their international promotion;

3) Training a team of professionals in the field by creating a new job and strengthening the working environment within the enterprise, respecting the principles of equal opportunities, non-discrimination, and inclusion, as well as adapting for people with disabilities.

Expected results are: The construction and equipping of the jewelry production workshop with state-of-the-art equipment specific to the activity, including equipment for conventional energy use, air pollution control, and ensuring accessibility for people with disabilities, as well as the integration of advanced digital solutions, concomitant with the creation of a job; Consolidating customer trust through the certification of services offered by the enterprise and its processes, as well as active promotion on the domestic and international market to attract and retain customers; Project and activity publicity in compliance with the provisions of the Applicant's Guide and the Visual Identity Manual and effective project promotion to increase its visibility and notoriety.

The project implementation period is 36 months calculated from the date of the funding agreement's signing by the last party, respectively September 12, 2025, until September 12, 2028.
