Brief description of the project

Construction and equipment of the "ARAH" jewelry workshop

SMART INVEST INC SRL, tax identification code 24860118, registered with the Trade Register under no. J2008002500034, headquartered in Nucşoara, Fermei Street no. 8, Argeș County, announces the signing, on 11.09.2025, of Financing Contract no. 439, for the implementation of the project entitled Construction and equipment of the "ARAH" jewelry workshop, SMIS Code 327650, with the South Muntenia Regional Development Agency (ADR Sud - Muntenia) as the Managing Authority for the South Muntenia Regional Program (AM PRSM).

The project will be implemented at the company's workplace located in the city of Ștefănești, village Valea Mare-Podgoria, str. Zavoi, no. 21, Argeș county, through a non-reimbursable financing granted through the Regional Program Sud-Muntenia 2021-2027, Investment Priority 1 - "A competitive region through innovation, digitalization and dynamic enterprises", Specific Objective 1.3. - "Intensifying sustainable growth and competitiveness of SMEs and creating jobs in SMEs, including through productive investments", call for projects: PRSM/160/PRSM_P1/OP1/RSO1.3/PRSM_A44.

The total value of the project is 306,607.99 euros, of which the eligible non-refundable value from the European Regional Development Fund amounts to 169,622.60 euros, the eligible non-refundable value from the national budget amounts to 29,933.41 euros and the eligible and ineligible beneficiary co-financing value, including ineligible VAT amounts to 107,051.98 euros.

The general objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness and sustainability of the enterprise by building and equipping the jewelry production workshop (CAEN code 3212). The project proposes to create a modern material base by purchasing equipment that incorporates new and sustainable technologies, with the aim of creating an efficient production flow for the production of products to high standards and the optimal use of resources, with the aim of sustainable development of the enterprise and increasing financial performance.

Specific objectives of the project:

1) Construction and equipping of the jewelry production workshop with equipment incorporating new and sustainable technologies, complemented by digitalization actions and environmental protection measures, aimed at ensuring the long-term sustainable development of the enterprise;

2) Increasing the company's reputation on the market by certifying services and processes, as well as by promoting them internationally;

3) Training a team of professionals in the field by creating a new job and strengthening the working environment in the enterprise, respecting the principles of equal opportunities, non-discrimination and inclusion, as well as adaptation for people with disabilities.

The expected results are: Construction and equipping of the jewelry production workshop with equipment that incorporates state-of-the-art technologies, specific to the activity, including equipment for the use of conventional energy, air pollution control and ensuring access for people with disabilities, as well as the integration of advanced digital solutions, simultaneously with the creation of a job; Strengthening customer trust by certifying the services offered by the enterprise and the processes, as well as active promotion on the domestic and foreign market to attract and retain customers; Publicizing the project and the activity in compliance with the provisions of the Applicant Guide and the Visual Identity Manual and effectively promoting the project to increase its visibility and notoriety.

The project implementation period is 36 months calculated from the date of signing the financing contract by the last party, namely 12.09.2025, until 12.09.2028.
